Favorite Things Friday and New Grab Buttons

I wanted to share that I fixed my Grab Buttons. At first I had a problem with the "Favorite Things Friday" button showing up way too big. Now it should show the correct size.

I have invested the big $1.99 so that I can show pictures on my linky party. I'm hoping this will encourage more people to join me. It's no fun to have a party with out blog party goers, so please join me for a cup of coffee, tea, or lemonade. We can sit in the air-conditioned living room or bare the heat on my wicker furniture under a big fruitless Mulberry Tree. I have several of those trees and boy do they make shade.

My Favorite Things Fridays #1

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens

These are a few of my favorite things.

Here are the favorite things from the first verse of "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music. Maria sings to the children this song when they are afraid of the storm. The Sound of Music has always had a special place in my heart. This is one of my favorite songs from this movie.

Once a week I'm going to share my favorite things. They may be pink, about cats or anything in between.

Pink Saturday- October 9, 2010

It's time for Pink Saturday, a fun party graciously hosted each week by Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound. Thanks, Beverly!

How appropriate to think of the Pink Month on Pink Saturday. Both of my dad's sisters are breast cancer survivors. This post is dedicated to those who have had it, their families and for all women who are afraid of getting it (myself included).

Today I'm showing some pink jewelery in honor of October Breast Cancer Research Month. I will donate 10% of pink items from my ebay store, Kat's Purrfect Boutique to proceeds to Breast Cancer Research. This includes all Barbies, pink jewelry and more. Please help me raise money for a good cause.
