April Collage for Mosaic Monday

The other day I created a new Header for my Blog. I used the program at Picnik to create the collage.

Here are the images I used and was considering.  They are all so beautiful!

This is from an old Alice in Wonderland book.

I got the images from The Graphic Fairy, Magic Moonlight and Photobucket. I love to work with Vintage Images and the first two places has tons of them. The best part is that they are free! I have a list of other free images on my blog roll page (toward the bottom).  Please feel free to "steal" them from me.

Janell, of Isabella & Max Rooms has Created "House of 50" a new e-zine

BWS tips button   Today I found out that one of my favorite bloggers, Janell Beals from Isabella & Max Rooms has co-started a new Internet Magazine called "House of 50".  The e-zine is coming out in April.

I have been reading Janell's blog for over 6 months now and love what she does.  She is an interior designer and does tons of do it yourself projects.  She is very motivational too.  I have sent her emails and comments and she takes the time to write me back.  She was very encouraging to me about some of the things I want to do with my life in the future, despite my fibromyalgia.  She said she admired my spirit.  Coming from someone, like her, really made me feel good.

Janell was on the Nate Berkus Show recently.  Many design bloggers were invited to his show, but Janell actually was in one of his segments.  On this show she talked about some of her DIY projects.

Please go to Janell's blog and see her great projects and go and subscribe to her new e-zine, "House of 50".  If you are like me, love beautiful homes and great DIY projects then you will love her blog and future e-zine.

First Blog Post

Mona @ More Milestones is doing a new blog promotion about first posts.
 Link to More Milestones

This is embarrassing! When I first started to blog I created a new blog instead of new posts (oops!). I had great ideas but.. After a few months I realized what I had done wrong. I was really good at blogging at first and then I wasn’t. Then I wanted to switch to godaddy’s blog but realized that wasn’t easy, so I recently switched back to blogger. I switched back after finding blogfrog. Blogfrog has been a life saver in more ways than one.

Here is a link to my first blog:

Now I'm working on Creating Pages on my Blog

I don't know why I'm so stuborn that I have to do this myself.  I want the freedom to change my blog backgrounds but I also want it to look good and read smoothly. Sigh!!  I should pay someone to do this but....   If you scroll down the blog you can see that I'm making an attempt.  I'm also trying to get my layout to work.  Sigh!  I follow the directions and then it says  go to this or that page and I can't find it.

Later on today I finally figured out what to do.  I needed to move up my gadgets after I had changed the layout templates.  So I have carefully copied and pasted my button, my fellow blogger buttons and more.
