St. Patrick's Day Pictures and Free Bookmark

Today I found lovely bookmarks for St. Patrick's Day @ Lilac & Lavender.  Go to this link to find this bookmark and more.

I have also included images that I have collected the last few years and their links.  Last year this is what my table looked like.  Here is a link to last year's post.

I'm Swedish-American and my husband is a Heinz 57 with Irish mixed in.

St. Patrick's Day Pictures

St. Patrick's Day Table

Kohls is one of my favorite stores.  I bought a great table cloth for 12.99 the day after Valentine's Day. I went back to see if they had one for St. Patrick's Day and they did!  Since it was before St. Patrick's Day I got it for $16.99.  I love them because they wash and wear well.  The flowers are from my front garden.  The fresias were planted about 10 years ago and come back every spring.  They smell amazing!

I'm connecting this to Finding Fabulous Frugal Friday.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

If you can't read this, it says:

An Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sunshine ward upon you face.
The rains fall off softly upon your paths
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

At my old church we sang this song for everyone that was moving to another church or state.  It always makes me cry.  Either because someone is moving away or the beauty of the song.  It was sung for us when we moved away and I cried even more then, but I had hope for the future in a new place with a new baby.

Now I'm off to put the corned beef and cabbage in the Crockpot.  Have a great St. Patrick's Day Everyone.

P.S.  I'm Swedish, not Irish, but I love Corned Beef and Cabbage and the color green. :)

New Header for Blog

Today I spent hours in picnik.com to create a new header for my blog.  First I put borders around each picture and it just didn't look right.

Then I went back and edited each image with out a border, except the one that creates the name for my blog.    I cropped each image to create a square that is about 200 x 200.  The total header is 925 x 200.

I layered one images on top of a clover background.

Isn't this pretty?

When I was all done I used the collage program, at picnik.com with 5 blocks by one.

I got the images from photobucket.com and Karen at graphicfairy.com

Once I was done with my header I uploaded it into the header file on the design page of my blog at blogger.com.

How do you like my new header?
