Bedrock and Beyond

Thursday, July 12, 2013

After visiting the Grand Canyon for 6 hours we stopped in Bedrock, which is a camp ground and restaurant created to look like the Flintstone's home town, Bedrock.  Natalie had fun taking pictures of what was outside the wall.  Inside there were more houses but they wanted $5 a piece to get in and we still had to drive to Flagstaff.  Bedrock is found  halfway between Grand Canyon and Williams.

I read an article, about Bedrock, Nevada (there is another one in South Dakota )online.  Now I wish we had spent the money to go because it may not be there next time we go to the Grand Canyon.

After stopping at Bedrock we witnessed amazing visions, looking West, on our drive.  Natalie took all the photos.  The skies, in Northern Arizona, during Sunset, storms or when ever were spectacular.

After a late dinner we spent the night in Flagstaff.
