The Benefits of Coloring Pages and Books for Adults

Do you still like coloring books?  Well you are in good company because it is the latest trend.  Clinical psychologist, Ben Michaelis says that coloring is a stress free activity that relaxes the mind in the amygdala.  The amygdala is the fear center of the brain.  While a person is coloring they are able to give their brain a chance to rest.  There are indirect health benefits that include wellness, quietness and it stimulates the brain that relates to motor skills, senses and creativity

Here is a adult coloring book

or you can look at the pages I've posted.

More found at The Graphic Fairy.  Under search look for either black and white clip art or coloring pages.

I have some black and white images

and Calendar Pages to customize and color in.

I have always loved to color, but I just learned that this was a new hot adult activity. I recently ordered a book that has coloring and doodling. Can't wait to have fun!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
