Chines New Year Printable Part 2

Here are more Chinese New Printables that can be colored in.    If you go to this site you can find out what year you were born.  Go here for Part One.  Since Natalie and I are born, 1997, exactly 36 years apart, the New Year calendar is the same as when I was born 1961.  Kurt was born July, 1957 so he's the year of the Rooster and Ben was born 1996 so he was born the year of the Rat.

On this chart you can find out what your Chinese horoscope is.  If your birthday is before Chinese New Years then your horoscope would be from the previous year.  For example:  Your birthday is January 10, 2014, your horoscope would be the year of the Goat not the year of the Horse.

Here is how the animal zodiac compares to the elements of the earth.  You can find more information by clicking the blue letters.

  1. Rat –  () (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Water)
  2. Ox –  () (Yin, 2nd Trine, Fixed Element Water)
  3. Tiger –  () (Yang, 3rd Trine, Fixed Element Wood)
  4. Rabbit –  or  () (Yin, 4th Trine, Fixed Element Wood)
  5. Dragon –  /  () (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Wood)
  6. Snake –  () (Yin, 2nd Trine, Fixed Element Fire)
  7. Horse –  /  () (Yang, 3rd Trine, Fixed Element Fire)
  8. Goat –  () (Yin, 4th Trine, Fixed Element Fire)
  9. Monkey –  () (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Metal)
  10. Rooster –  /  () (Yin, 2nd Trine, Fixed Element Metal)
  11. Dog –  /  () (Yang, 3rd Trine, Fixed Element Metal)
  12. Pig –  /  () (Yin, 4th Trine, Fixed Element Water)

I was going this Friday night but realized it was the official beginning of the Chinese New Years.  Instead we'll do it next Friday when the Chinese Restaurants are not as busy.  Now I need to go to party city to buy cute napkins and maybe plates.  I'm thinking of making a jello cake.  When I've finally had my party I'll share pictures.

Go to my Party Page to see where I share this post.
