As you can see, I have created a new background and header. I got the background from The Cutest Blog on the Block and created my own header. They have a great header that looks like this:
and after I edited it, it looked like this:
I wanted to create my own header like I've done in the past. It's amazing but I kept the same background and header for about 6 months. I usually change it every month but I really like what I did and I wasn't blogging that much this past year because of health and personal issues. But.....
Halloween is so colorful and fun that I had to do something new.
Except the first image that I got somewhere online the rest of the images I created. The two with the orange background I created in Blingee and then cropped it to fit. I just created the Happy Halloween one the other night. I created the last two pictures in Picnic. I really miss Picnic.com don't you? In the first one Picnic had Halloween stickers that look like ghosts, spider webs and lightening. I got the image from the Graphic Fairy and made it black and white. I talk about it in this post.
The last one I also did in picnic and used the tinting tools. Since picnic (except a re-sizing tool) I created the long banner/collage with picmonkey.com. Picmonkey is a great site but it's not as great as picnic was and you have to pay for advanced tools.
I'm going to re-post some of my Halloween posts, in October, from the past few years. Personally, I love the digital graphics I've created. I'm doing the October stuff now because I'm going to be in Las Vegas next week. My dad and Emily are staying with Natalie while Kurt and I are gone. It's our anniversary and the first time we're really going away after reuniting last November after being estranged for 10 years.
How do you like my new header and background?
