My neighbors, next door, have two young girls, ages 4 and 7. I had a mini-Halloween party and they got to play with our Halloween Barbie, Princesses, and Halloween Kelly.
We had brownies and Swedish Fish that I stored in my cat bowl. On my table I used a green plastic cloth from Smart and Final and a spider web cloth on the top. I bought the spider cloth at Michael's. I've wanted one of those for years and found this one for $6.99, on sale. On the table I also had a big pumpkin lantern, bought a few years ago at Target and bleeding candles that I bought at the local "Spirit" store.
The piano had most of my decorations. This is the last year I will have an dark orange wall. We're planning on repainting my living room, with new slipcovers and pillows.
I used Natalie's old Nursery organizer and put 12x12 Halloween Papers on the "walls" and "floors". I traced the scrapbook paper with desks and tables and taped them on the Barbie furniture. I used other fun toys that I've collected.
I even included a few of the Halloween Little People
too. I made the mini banner last year and posted about it here.
On top of the Barbie Halloween House you'll find protector Vampire Scooby Do.
On my pass through (bar between living room and kitchen) I put a small strip of Halloween cat fabric and the Candle Tins, found in the $ section of Target a few years ago.

I also put up a picture that my daughter had recently painted. Is this spooky or what?

What a cute idea and how innovative on your use of props! Your daughter's painting is a great prop for Barbie and her friends at their tea! Shelving like this I have used myself , it works great for setups like this for holidays!
