We are on the corner lot in a neighborhood in the Suburbs of Los Angeles. We've lived here since I was pregnant with Natalie, August, 1997.

| My porch on a good day. Right now I need to plant more annuals in that spot. Most of my plants are perennials, so they come back every year. |

My view, from my front porch. My mom bought me the mailbox, that is hand-painted, from a Scandinavian Craft Fair. The picture was taken in late November because our leaves don't fall down till then. Near the coast there aren't deciduous trees but inland, where are are now, there are. Every street, in my neighborhood, has a different tree. I really love the Pepper Trees, which are seen across the street. They burst out in red and orange. In front of my house is a Modesto Ash which is yellow.
