St. Patrick's Day Dinner

Today I was going to make corned beef and cabbage but I ran out of time.  I should have bought the stuff yesterday but I had to get an oil change and had a therapy appointment.  Later that day I was too sleepy and tired to go to the store again.  Today I ended up going to the store and bought chicken to make for tonight's dinner and I'm going to make the Corned beef on Tues or Wednesday.  I made Chicken Marsala a I'm pleased how it turned out.  We had the Chicken with rice, asparagus and a green salad.  We used the drippings, from the chicken, over the rice and it was really yummy.

On Friday I went to Michael's to buy St. Patrick's 12x12 paper and other stuff.  Yikes!  I get lost in there and spend too much time and money.  I ended up finding some great stuff for future projects.  Today I wanted a new picture for my 12x12 frame that I keep pretty old calendar pages and scrapbook pages.  It usually is on the wall near my dining table.  It's actually the entry way but it's so large it fits my table and I keep the table against the wall when we don't have company.  The three of us just sit on the other 3 sides.

Here is what I did:

I got these images from The Cottage Market blog.  Andrea featured my free St. Patrick Images at her Link Party.  I had my husband help me re-size them in Photoshop so they would work with my page perfectly.

I cut the pictures out and pasted them onto this fun paper I found at Michael's.

This is how it looked on my dining area wall.

I put in a St. Patrick's Day ribbon on my white dish.  I use different ribbons for different Holidays and Seasons.

While I was shopping I found a cute Clover-Shamrock plant.

How Perfect is this?

I hope you had a great weekend.  We had fabulous weather and great food.
