How does a Movie connect to a Jello Recipe?

How is the movie "All the President's Men" with Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman related to this Recipe for Watergate Salad?

and

I thought it was funny that it was called Watergate and of course at first thought of when former President Richard Nixon and the Watergate scandal.  According to Wikipedia, Jello named it Pistachio Delight.  Pistachio Pudding was created in 1975, 25 years after instant pudding was created in 1 950.  Pistachio Delight was later named after the Watergate Hotel. Another http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074119/ tsource states that it was named Watergate connect it to the Watergate Scandal.  The movie, "All the President's Men" uncovers the Watergate Scandal.  According to his is the story line:

In the run-up to the 1972 elections, Washington

Post reporter Bob Woodward covers what seems to

be a minor break-in at the Democratic Party

National headquarters. He is surprised to find top

lawyers already on the defense case, and the

discovery of names and addresses of Republican

fund organizers on the accused further arouses his

suspicions. The editor of the Post is prepared to run

with the story and assigns Woodward and Carl

Bernstein to it. They find the trail leading higher

and higher in the Republican Party,

and eventually into the White House itself.

Ford Speaks With Nixon: In 1974, Nixon resigned in the face of impeachment by Congress over the Watergate burglary scandal. (Photo Credit: Bettmann/CORBIS)

On June 17, 1974 five men broke into the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C.
When the crime was investigated they discovered that President Nixon was trying to hide the story and felt that he had executive privilege and protection from the law since he was the President of the United States.  The courts declared this un-constitutional and Nixon faced Impeachment.  Instead on August 9, 1974 Nixon resigned and is still the only President to resign in History of the United States.  When Gerald Ford became President the same day Nixon was impeached, he pardoned Nixon of any past crimes.  The United States and the World never looked at the Presidency in the same way again. I was 12 when this happened and I remember feeling disallusioned about the president and the world.  There was a lot of other stuff happening in the world to add to these feelings.  we lost our innocence.

Getting back to the heading...how does Jello connect to Watergate...

I was looking through my Kraftfoods Magazine for ideas for Thanksgiving Dinner.  It was just going to be Kurt, Natalie and I and Kurt was cooking most of the meal.  I wanted to look for something to add.  I found this recipe and I had enjoyed it before but never knew the name or how to make it.  I was excited to try it and even happier to see that it was easy to make too.

Watergate Salad

Here is the Historical Recipe that is popular in the Northern Midwest States like Minnesota.  Garison Keller often makes fun of the Lutheran's Jello Salads on The Praire Home Companion Radio Show.  We used to listen to this show and I always laughed when they made fun of Lutherans since that is the church I was raised in and I am Swedish-American.

The Dino Game, featured in Google Chrome, activates when the internet is down. Players guide a pixelated T-Rex dinosaur through a desert, leaping over cacti and dodging pterodactyls. This minimalist game offers a fun challenge during offline moments, turning connectivity issues into an entertaining break.
