I WON A COPY OF PRINCESS DIANA'S SAPPHIRE RING

I was just informed that I won a giveaway contest at Today's Gold blog. I found this blog by looking at the guest list of Vanessa's A Fanciful Twist's Halloween Party. Since I am the same age that Princess Di would have been I wanted the ring. For those younger folks, she's the mother of Prince William. My daughter reminded me that her friends don't know Princess Di, but know her as Diana. That was when I ran down the hallway and said I won the ring. :) I've having a bad day so I needed something to cheer me up.

WINNER OF THE CSN PROMOTION

Hi Everyone,  I finally have a winner for the CSN Promotion for a $55 gift card.  The winner is "Truthhole".  I tried to find her name, but was unable to.  Anyways, I have already emailed her to let her know she won.   This was my first give away.  Since I had more than one entry for each person, I went through all the comments and made note of everything that each person did.  I put a number next to each entry.  A few minutes away I went to Random.org and put in the numbers 1-60 and it gave me the number 25.  I tried to copy this (to prove I did it) but it wouldn't work.

Day 8

Today I want to link to some of my older posts that I did about a year ago.  I was new at blogging and was promoting my online store.  These blog posts are mostly about Barbies. At the time I did a blog for subject then realized I was suppose to have one blog and many posts. It is interesting to see how I've grown since then. 31 Days to a Better Blog. Day 1- An Elevator Pitch

I started to work on this last week because I knew I was going to be busy this week.  When I started my elevator pitch it turned into the complete "about me" page in my blog.  I was really motivated after learning about elevator pitches.

The short version is this:

My blog started out as an extention of my e-BAY store "Kat's Purrfect Boutique".  I named my blog Kat's Almost Purrfect World because my life is far from perfect and I wanted to connect to my love of cats and my name
 Kat harine.  Anyways,  I realized that my blog would be more fun if it was about me, my daughter, my cats and my life.  I wanted to share what it's like to have fibromyalgia and why I started to sell Barbies and more online.

This is embarrassing! When I first started to blog I created a new blog instead of new posts (oops!). I had great ideas but.. After a few months I realized what I had done wrong.
